Edit: I was just flicking through `Cataclysm-X 's gallery and came across this tutorial \o/ And my scanner tends to eat everything, especially pencil drawings~ So I thought i'd try and fix the contrast, so practiced on this drawing (:Sooooo to summarise the rambling edit here- I've edited the contrast and darkened the shadows
This is the result of a weekend full of hard work and maths revision..... or not
So I thought I'd try some realism, as I haven't done much since I finished my art GCSE
... I had forgotten how hard realism is 
This drawing is supposed to be DiNozzo from NCIS...

I used normal sketching pencils, a mechanical pencil, and a white gel pen (:

awsome work i havent seen work like this since i was 8 because we had a supply teacher she just drew someone 8) ive seen the pic you used [link] its great but it seem a tiny bit wide, gibbs is awsome hes like a ninja that episode where he gave abby her usual drink without her knowing and how he knows what the others are doing without him being there (creepy music) P.S. That would be due to my stupid school system
Our year were the guinea pigs, yes, I am in fact a guinea pig D:
They changed the tutor system when we were in year 8, and mixed the year groups D: So only in year 7 was my tutor group with people my age OTL
And then in year 8 they also announced that we would start our GCSE's in year 9
So that is why i've finished my art course
They seemed to think that we would get more GCSE's from their smashing and shiny new system!
It is all an EPIC FAIL on my school's part

And I'm doing Add Maths too!!! It's a complete nightmare! D: My teacher was more interested in the state of her unborn child >.< But she's since left to have here baby- Yay

Did you do the same art course as me? Where you have a theme and then you do heaps of coursework and then an exam, like barriers and natural form?
Our head teacher has left too, lol.
He thought it would be a great idea to stop school trips on school days, so every 10 weeks we have a special day in which they get loads of speakers in to talk to us, about things like "confidence" o.O, and they are the only days we can go on school trips....
Who can guarantee that a certain art exhibition will be on those days? Or a certain show, or a certain exhibition? and every single time we had one of those days, nothing was on, so we had to sit around in a hall all day.
We missed the Tate modern exhibitions in london! I almost decapitated myself.
Oh god, someone in my town got decapitated by a dustbin truck as it ran her over o__o
I walk past that spot every week! D:

Stop school trips? o.O I always loved going on school trips to get out of class, but we haven't been offered any trips recently ):
And we have stupid things like that in assembly every week D: The teachers ramble all about 'responsibilities' and 'safety on the internet' and 'gold standard learning' etc..... -.-
I have no idea what they're going to do, lol xDD I think they're improving their mistakes with the younger kids, but we are forever the guinea pigs 
Speaking of chavs, the other day I saw a chav in my year in town with her friend... And her friend had an asbo tag thing on her ankle D: And she's only 15 D:
I swear, half the people my age are complete chavs, just throwing their life away

Graphics? My friend did graphics, haha xD I did product design for technology and it was pants. Seriously, the teacher was rubbish and I am never going to reach my target grade, which is a B. I had the exam last wednesday, and it was full of huge fail xD We had to examine a freaking tap and a childrens play mat! I was like, "urm... its... flat and mat-like? and the tap, is very, spout like, and tap like, and... shiny?" LOL

Yes it is!! And then they wonder why less people are joining our school :L It's because the year 6's are too scared xP Everyone tells them that girl hung herself from the belltower we have at school; and their parents think that it's a really rough school, so send them to the mixed school instead
