This is a project I've started that is just for practicing how to lay out comic pages. (Because I've never tried, kill me.) I just need a subject matter, so it became Homestuck. Critique is appreciated.

Trolls have a hierarchy based on blood color, with red (darker than human blood) being at the bottom and purple being at the top. The bull-horned troll has mustard-colored blood, placing him far below the troll who is stealing his food. Each blood color is associated with an astrological sign--bull-horns is a Tauros, the other guy is a Capricorn. It's kind of like a caste system.

actually Fuchsia is the top, just to make things clear here the blood caste from top to bottom.
High bloods
Fuchsia
Violet
Purple
Mid bloods
Indigo
Cerulean
Teal
Jade
Olive
Low bloods
Lime (extinct long before the events of Homestuck, although don't confuse the blood color for female Cherubs lime blood)
Yellow/Mustard/Gold
Bronze/Rust
Burgundy
Candy red (mutant)

This is amazing and well drawn and exciting, and omg Signless, and I'll definitely read the other pages, too.
The art style is really cool, looks very alive and dynamic. The layout is very nice, too.
Just one tiny thing: It looks like the orangeblood has Tavros' sign. Unless he is supposed to be Tavros' ancestor (which would be the Summoner who comes much later and has wings), he should have a different sign.
That's just nitpicking, though. It doesn't take away from the enjoyment or anything.
Still a great first page to what I'm sure is a great comic.

FUNNY STORY:
When I first became interested in reading Homestuck, I found mspadventures and was convinced that it couldn't be what everyone was talking about. I came across your comic, and thought it was probably the actual Homestuck, and I fell in love with it. However, out of context, there was a bunch of stuff I didn't get, and I eventually figured out that what I saw first was Homestuck and read it.
But I thought you comic was legitimate Homestuck. So congrats! If that's something you congratulate anyway. It's a really good comic!
