THIS is what I see when I think of Marvin. Not the published, influenced modern versions that make him look pathetic.
THIS is the BEST MARVIN I have EVER seen.

With all the pains in the diodes down his left side...

I like his twisted pose, it suits his backstory at this point. My only artistic related critique is that his leg should be more of a regular shaped cylinder since his leg is actually part of a cricket wicket thing.

Very true! Thanks, I had forgotten that I had tapered it. I'm also going to add rust.

Nice avatar!

Marvin like the very Marvin from Hitch Hiker's Guide?!?! That is so cool. That is the very epitome of awesomeness.

wow...this is what I'd like to do for a living...how do I do it and how can I obtain a kind of program that would let me do anything remotely close to this...*drool...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Connorchap In reply to YonVonHanJonJoJonson [2006-09-28 03:24:28 +0000 UTC]

To do 3d? I'd start out with bryce, that's what I used for this. It has a lot of restrictions, but it's easy to learn. Thanks a lot!

YonVonHanJonJoJonson In reply to Connorchap [2006-09-29 01:33:40 +0000 UTC]

Thanks! Do you know where I could get a hold of this program? Also...how much? ALSO!!! You're welcome...heh...

Connorchap In reply to YonVonHanJonJoJonson [2006-09-29 20:57:43 +0000 UTC]

I don't really know were you could get it, you could just search it on Ask. And, for the new version of it, which is called Bryce 5.5, about $80. Relatively cheap for a program like that.

Maybe that is why Marvin is so depressed. Some one welded him wrong and he lost his leg in a tragic game of cricket. (So I am guessing) Poor Poor Marvin. Hehe! It is awesome, but not for Marvin.

Connorchap In reply to x-dictator-rebel-x [2006-09-28 03:18:05 +0000 UTC]

He actually lost his leg and got his arm inconveniently welded to his side because he almost fell into a sun. Go figure.
