If you decided to chop off her arm the walkers around Clem and Sarita will eat Sarita. I decided not to because I knew how stupid that was especially since Clem didn't make a clean cut between the bones. Also in the comics the new antagonist used walker guts as a weapon to infect people which was successful. How odd that TellTale would make Clem use a blood covered hatchet to chop off Sarita's arm after Robert Kirkmen confirmed that walker fluids can infect you as well.

It's actually what kills you. The dead body is full of bacteria that is too powerful for any antibiotic to cure. So by getting any of that bacteria in your blood stream you can get infected by bacteria and eventually die when it finally kills you. Then you turn.

Β While I did hear they changed all the choices around because they were leaked, reason behind the last episode of the wolf among us showing up before the next episode Lol. Yet there are so many factors of her not making it out of the herd especially if you chopped her arm. It would be insanely unrealistic for them to have her escape the herd when Carlos wasn't making a lot of noise and they went for him rather than his daughter just because he was bleeding.
List of why Sarita won't escape the herd if you chopped off her arm:
- Telltale likes to make you look like an idiot(Boy would they not pass that up especially when 92% of players made that choice).
- Sarita is bleeding way more than Carlos did which the walkers can smell in an instant.
- Sarita could bleed out.
- If Lee passed out even after carefully chopping his arm off she sure as hell will especially since it wasn't a clean cut .
- Walkers are surrounding them and it would be impossible for not one of them to detect her or smell the fresh blood.
- SHE SCREAMED!!!
Β Look I like Sarita as much as I like Carley but stop with this nonsense! She has a better chance of surviving the bite if they just get out of the herd and chop it off as soon as they can. Let me guess you shot Duck, chopped off Lee's arm even though it was too late and handcuff Lee only to shoot him later.Β

You know, I think that guy Mike is actually that guy who caught her, Ralph, you know the one with the hoodie. He just looks a little less rendered and detailed. I mean he has the exact same facial features, he's got the bullet wound on the side of his face indicating Christa shot him, and he's also wearing the same grey hoodie! Maybe Christa is still alive out there, it is strongly implied that they were in Carver's group after all.

But Telltale has a habit of reusing the characters between one situation and another, such as when they used Eddie on the cover of EP04. (..and Eddie never appeared in the episode)

Actually, you might be right! I thought that was the reason he isn't dead yet, I mean he has so many factors stating he's Ralph.
- They both have the same face
- They're both in Carver's group.
- They both have the same kind of grey hoodie.
- Mike has the scar across the sided of his face, indicating he got shot by Christa.
They are both the same person! Yet where's Vince! I thought they were at least going to introduce him.
So many things they could have done with the 400 days characters and they didn't.

COMIC SPOILERS
In the comics, Negan has his men coat their weapons with walker guts. During the assault on the Hilltop, they only manage to hurt a few people before Rick's trap kills most of his men and forces them to retreat. However, everyone who was hurt with an infected weapon ended up dying later. So... Yeah, walker blood would kill her.
That being said, in the heat of the moment, I still chose to chop her arm off, only realizing later how risky it was.
