Reminds me of a childrenβs book that came out about him in β08, which featured him sitting with his head bowed in Rev. Wrightβs church, halo-effect around his head. I wanted to draw in a word balloon coming from the pulpit that said βNonono, God#$%@ America!β Didnβt have the guts to, though.

The tactics are always the same:
-blame others
-attack opponents because your own ideas are indefensable.
-ridicule others to discredit opposition
-use trite soundbytes to make it easy for other to parrot them (ie bush lied, people died)
-repeat a lie often enough so it becomes a truth
-misdirection. ie it was evil Wall St that caused all the problems (while hiding Fannie and Freddie- the real root cause of the financial meltdown).

Is there any clear explanation as to why they always blame Bush? He wasn't the perfect President, sure, but why is everything suddenly (well, for X amount of years) his fault?
