i believe
if i walk up that street
i'll reach the wonderland
and catch the falling star

but im not doing that just yet
lying down here
feeling the temperature of the earth through concrete
staring up the sky

i've reached the wonderland
without walking up the street

i believe
the wonderland has always been here
we are all the little alice
i believe
this world is full of wonder
And this picture is wonderful too! <33

good concept and well executed. have you ever seen the film 'my own private idaho'? i think you should make a point of watching it.

There's something I really like about this picture, but I can't put my finger on it.

the flesh arc - the line that runs from arm-shoulder across chest to shoulder-arm is excellent. overall the piece feels very balanced, expansive, and rests on an almost supernatural edge.

and you, singing to a star.

have you realized yet that you are driving the earth...

nooooo
*does cpr*

It looked very very dark at first (I couldn't see anything but the tree) but now that I've properly set this dumb office computer, it looks lovely. It's an interesting shot...not one I'd have thought to take, at least

So dark, so wonderful. We are getting Mars really close soon in a week in Australia... I can imagine myself doing this for hours on some outback road and getting totalled by a semi.. but sadly I will be back in the light pollution of Sydney

I really like the darkness, the sky and particularly the shadowy figure of the tree against the sky. It reminds of of the U2 song "In Godยดs Country."

That might be because the tree is a "Joshua Tree" hehehe...

The tree looks very ominous and imposing. I had fun letting my eyes adjust to the photo, it was interesting. Good work!

Oh, such a pretty perpective with the road running to the far away horizont. His position is a bit funny, it's like he's giving a birth or something ^u^;; But beautiful colours and interesting framing.

I beleive you believe too...

you never told me what lit you up? moonlight?

needless to say the location is really outstanding, and it was well worth the long ride as well.

yet another long exposure fantastically executed.

The light and hues are un-real. I have a friend who I was trying to explain some of the amazing things that can be done with long-exposure, and I'm going to send her this direction
