Before the Great War he was part of the cultural observation team along with his good friend Jazz. Once the war broke out he parted ways with Jazz, where Jazz went into Special Operations Turntable set up an elite unit of Decepticon hunters. His team all took on the colour schemes of those they hunted, and often isolate themselves from other Autobots, leading many to believe they can't be trusted.

Turntable is a skilled tracker, and highly respected by his unit. He remains a bit of a mystery to his troops only really conversing with his comms officer Rundown, his chief tactician Topper, and his heavy weapons division leader Noah.
