Real talk, fighting games are racist. Particularly if you've ever played a King of Fighters game. Dem backgrounds!Not all of these are racist, some are just stereotypes. Like the damsel in distress fan service character. Flamboyant gay character. And the fact that no matter what for the rest of time, Germany will be remembered as the country that produced Hitler.

Videogames in general have stereotypical characters, I think. Laughably so, sometimes, even though they weren't supposed to be that way... gotta wonder if the character designers live under rocks.

some of them maybe... but in an age of political correctness, the easiest way to be politically correct is to be politically incorrect... that way, at least you are including everyone in your stereotyping, right?
Beyond that, there's always the problem of popular culture perpetuating stereotypes. And let's face it... we all do it.
