History:

Maim does not remember life before her resurrection besides that it was a savage one. She holds no regrets from her former life simply because she cannot remember it and probably never will. She doesn't even retain her savage instinct but that is mostly due to modification and "fixing" from team plasma scientists. After her resurrection she was turned into what is essentially a weaponized pokemon. Under Plasma's care her mind was enhanced with an impressive AI program ultimately meant to make the Genesect thinking and intelligent, but obedient weapon. Something like a living robot. For example: the amygdala, a part of the brain that controls anger and aggression was ultimately sectioned off. With controlled electrical stimulation the newly modified Genesect could be made to into a savage, uninhibited beast.

Soon after it was activated and put through primary and secondary testing, plasma was discovered, defeated, and shut down. Maim was deactivated, partially dismantled, and thrown away by authorities. Shortly after though, a fail-safe clicked in which re-activated the Genesect. It was something built in by team plasma to ensure the creation’s survival even after defeat, over the span of a few weeks the Genesect repaired itself through a long process of reattaching the broken parts and collecting the drives it was capable of sensing. It’s first order of business was to towards an isolated town since it had sensed people. The Genesect understood it had protocol to follow and orders to fulfill but what were they? There was no one to give them. It was driven off into deserted wasteland by frightened settlers. After a while the AI started working at full capacity. It ultimately had the odd effect of kicking the thinking parts of her brain back into action as well as supplementing and supporting it in the acquisition of knowledge and, eventually, a personality; things which it had deemed necessary for prolonged survival. The genesect often watched the town in secret and wandered the wastelands compiling data and learning more about itself and its capabilities. After a long while it eventually determined it was a “she” and even pulled a word from her programming to be her name. Maim remained in the desert for many years following always wanting to learn and discover. She developed interests along the way by watching and picking up on things from human settlements. Over time she particularly developed a fascination with painting. Through this fascination she discovered that she could make paintings of her own on boulders and such by pouring pain or inserting pain cans or spray paint cans onto her cannon. She liked that effect much more than what the drives did after all since using the drives destroyed instead of created. Programming wouldn't allow her to abandon them unfortunately. Maim then began to expand her explorations, always careful to avoid human contact, and often took a day or two to venture further and further outside the deserted areas. Eventually she found her way into the Secret Hideout with the help of remarkably strong energy flux. She is rather fascinated with the place but knows little to nothing of it. After close study and calculation of the place, she has decided to investigate.

She herself may be considered by others as a bit of an anomaly among legendaries and not in a good way. After all, her species is a man-made one intended for destruction and the subjugation of others. She doesn't quite see the difference as of now. Because of that, she behaves in an almost carefree manner and almost bizarre manner. She likes to organize things into compositions and may ask to paint people or comment on their “color scheme”. There are times when she may inadvertently insult someone but she tries to watch her manners. She doesn't recognize what she’s capable of but figures after how the human settlers treated her that she’s not intended to be among them and will get a but twitchy when humans are the subject of discussion. Otherwise Maim will ask questions, sit and calculate, and be nosy as hell just to learn. There are times where she may behave in an overly jealous and clingy manner though.

Fire is very bad for her regardless but a shot of electricity to her head MAY initiate her “kill mode” by inadvertently setting off the system that stimulates the amygdala. (with that said.. please try to avoid shocking her face. I’ll determine by dice roll what happens in the event of it.. but she really isn’t a violent character)
 Because of the controls on her mind she has a hard time getting angry and is very VERY easy to push around
 When stressed some of her joints may go a little haywire and twitch. Her speaking may also go a little crazy as indicated by severe fluctuation in her speaking. Te pitch and volume changes at random till normalcy is restored
 She likes to name everything. For instance a Joltik would be “Argisidae Lux Lucis ” or a cloud might be “pre-rains” or “gathered condensation” so things in their literal sense classified sense or in the very easy words. It all depends.
 She literally possesses no skill in painting. It’s all just blasting walls or canvas or whatever is available.
