[link] from . This one took way longer than I expected, mostly because I don't think I spent more than 10 minutes a day working on it, lots of distractions. The hair sucked to draw, and it still doesn't look believable to me. I don't know what else to say, i hate for having so much hair. Eh, its late I'm tired, so don't give me the harsh criticisms til morning ok? good...

Wow, this is amazing, I have a question about doing the hair. I noticed that the light lines, how did you do them? I am trying to learn how to do hair, I have lucked out on a couple of my works, but don't really have a clue how to do it right.

how come your signature is copy + pasted in? ..cuz you can tell from the fact that you overlaid it and cut a little bit of the frame

I added the frame, don't remember why, just thought it looked neater, so when I did that, I also cleaned up outside of the frame. I didn't want to lose my sig, so i just cut and pasted it. I was lazy...

I did use an eraser for some because I smudged it with my hands. I buy big erasers and sharpen them. Mostly though, I shade around it.

Thanks. Well, I take a lot of different approaches to drawing hair. It all depends on what kind of hair I guess. For darker hair, I try to follow the pattern and draw each hair one stroke at a time. I try to use the very tip of the pencil and use different pressures each stroke. Eventually it forms a pattern, a certain shading and I encourage it, making areas darker or lighter to look more realistic. For lighter colored hair I try to make it as accurate as possible because any less and it just wouldn't look convincing. I mostly try to shade around the white areas and erase them in to make them whiter. Hope that helps. Thanks again.
