Personality:
Show-off - Bash is always trying to show off and make himself look good. Especially if it's in front of a bunch of she-cats. Admittedly his antics don't usually result in success (hardly ever actually) as he can be quite clumsy, mostly due to him never being able quite get his tail to cooperate but this doesn't stop him. Even if he falls on his face the tom will just get back up again and try something else, hopefully with more success this time.

Immature/Reckless - Bash loves to have fun and be the center of attention but not always in the most mature of ways. He can be expected to pull little pranks or put himself in danger if it means getting a few laughs. He doesn't ever really give any regard to his safety and often gets himself injured, thankfully he has only had minor injuries so far but maybe if he were to actually hurt himself real good he might feel less desire to be so reckless.

Responsible - Bash can always be counted on to carry out his duties around the barn and fields. He has never felt right about trying to get out of things or leaving anything half done and his parents always reinforced that feeling by encouraging him to do things for himself. Sometimes it might take him a while to do things due to the fact that he gets distracted quite easily, but he will always make sure that it ends up done at one time or another.

Loyal - Bash pretty much has blind loyalty to anyone he considers a friend. Even if they do bad things and he knows about it, he will still stick by them, believing that even though they might have done those things, that they are still good Poke-cats and that maybe there might even be a good explanation for why they did it. He really wants to believe that he can trust those he's 'pledged' loyalty to and hopes that they think the same with him.

Lethargic - Probably due to the events of his departure from Cianwood, since Bash returned, the tom hasn't seemed as cheerful as he used to. His words and actions seem like they are a little forced. The tom does his best to hide how he's really feeling, and he does it pretty well, but it's likely that those that know him fairly well have caught on that his mood hasn't been too great. Hopefully after a little while the Wailord will regain his spirits and go back to being the cheerful tom that he is.

Bash has never been the best at reading other cat's emotions or situations. He's not really good at understanding his own feelings either. Because of this, Bash is not usually very careful about what he says or does and will sometimes say/do the wrong things, usually resulting in hurting another Poke-cat's feelings without realizing or making thing's worse than they had been. He is occasionally able to pick up on a change in mood but he won't necessarily understand that something that he did/said caused the mood swing in the other feline.

A little background info:

When Bash was a kit, his older sister hated him and his other sister. They were too young to understand the concept of jealousy and why she might feel it towards them. They knew that their mother was not the same as Anzu's but that they shared a father. They just didn't understand that being the only one with their father's attention for so long had made it hard for Anzu to share.
One day, Anzu took Bash and their other sister out to play and it ended badly. Their Magikarp sister was badly poisoned by Anzu's toxic fumes and they couldn't get help in time before the weak kit died from the poisoning.
Too young to fully understand what had happened or the concept of death, Bash had a hard time. He kept asking his parents when his sister would wake up or when she would come back. After a long enough period of time, Bash came to understand that she wouldn't play with him ever again.
A few years after the loss of their sister, Anzu just left one morning and then Bash was left alone with his parents. They lived comfortably, not exactly happily though, for the next few years after before Bash decided to go his own way as well though the decision was made hard as his father kept getting sick, and each time the sickness was worse and he started to go mad in his ill head. Though it was hard for Bash to leave, it was harder for him to stay and watch his father deteriorate so he left like he had planned.
He traveled alone until he heard rumours of an island where poke-cats had been traveling. A place free of humans who found them to be pests and where they could be happy and comfortable. It sounded wonderful to Bash.
In an odd stroke of luck, he also managed to find Anzu again and he told her of Cianwood island and asked her if she'd accompany him. It took a while to convince her before she agreed but it was only a few more days, after doing more research into the rumors, before the two left for the island.

The Letter
After months of living on Cianwood, one day the tom got a letter. It was from his mother and the contents were nearly illegible, both from being water damaged as well as that it had seemed to be written in haste. After some time and some help, Bash was able to make out what the letter said. In short, his father had wandered off suddenly one night and his mother hadn't seen or heard from him since.
After reading this, the Wailord immediately began to pack a quick bag, filling it with berries and some other foods, as well as some tools that might be helpful and clothing items that could keep him warm if the weather turned bad.
Before he left the island, he made sure to check in on his sister and ask if she would like to accompany him. She refused as he expected she would but he didn't waste any time trying to convince her to go; it would have been useless. So with a quick goodbye the tom entered the ocean and began swimming away from Cianwood.

It was nearly a month before Bash was able to find and meet up with his mother. When he found her, she was grungy with dirt, her fur was a tangled mess and she had become quite thin. Obviously she hadn't been able to take proper care of herself in her worry over her mate. Before continuing the search, though she was quite disheartened in continuing, Bash helped her clean up a bit and gave her some food.
Knowing now what this situation was doing to his mother, Bash was reluctant to let his mother continue her search but she was persistant. They searched for a few more days before Bash finally decided it was time to end it. His mother's spirit deteriorated more and more as they continued and he hated to watch her becoming more frail and less like the she-cat he used to know.
When he requested that they stop, as expected, his mother didn't want to. He tried to convince her that this had gone on long enough. His father had been missing for who knew how long before he had gotten there and there were no signs of him anywhere. The chances of finding him were very slim at this point but the Wailord eventually gave up trying to convince her of this and it was determined that his mother would continue her search and he would leave her in the morning.
Before he left, Bash tried once more to convince his mother to give up her search but she was stubborn and wouldn't budge on her feelings so with a short farewell, Bash finally left her and started back to Cianwood where he would resume his life as a Villager.

He stretched his legs and yawned widely before shaking little bits of his nest from his pelt.
The tom looked around at his clan mates and spotting Frozenpaw, he shuddered inwardly. He wasn't used to the sight of his sister with only 3 legs and, even though he hadn't been there, an image of an angry badger tearing her leg from her flashed in his mind every time he saw her. It made him uncomfortable and he tried not to look at her.
Tearing his gaze away he spotted Sweetpaw just a few steps away. "Hey Sweetpaw. Sleep well?" He greeted her.
