During lunch break, news about a transferee was the immediate topic at the cafeteria.

"Did you hear? There's a new student at the Asia class and she's a girl." said Prussia as he sat down beside France.

"Really? She must be an intelligent one. That class is known for that." France said while rubbing his chin.

"Look, here she comes with Taiwan-chan. When you look at them together, they really look alike." said Spain as he pointed the direction with his fork.

"She is cute for girl, like a French doll." commented France.

Walking with Taiwan was a child-faced student. Her small flat school shoes gave more emphasis on her short stature. Her black eyes that seemed to observe everything around as Taiwan escorted her. Long black hair cascaded down her back untied. Finally, the two girls sat beside Hungary and Belgium with their lunch trays.

"Hey Prussia, since she's sitting with Hungary-chan, can you and Hungary-chan serve as a bridge of love for us?"

"Hmm, you have a point. In that way, maybe I'll be able to kick Austria out of Hungary's perspective." said Prussia, his pink eyes gleaming.

On another table, Russia was staring at the new girl with interested eyes. He poked Belarus and asked, "Hey, what was her name again?"

"She's Philippines-chan, isn't she cute? I had a small talk with her a while ago before classes. Seems like a good girl to me." answered Ukraine as she sat down beside Belarus.

"She doesn't look like her age for that matter, like much younger than any of us." commented Belarus irritably, thinking that her precious older brother would be attracted to another girl.

Philippines stood up as soon as China approached her. Together, they left the cafeteria.

"What are we supposed to talk about, China-san?"

"I am glad that you transferred here as I referred to you. Hiring a tutor costs more and this way, you can interact with the others."

"It seems so. It may take some time before I can get used to this."

"I see. Good luck and do your best okay aru~?"

Nodding her head, Philippines returned to the classroom.

After classes, Philippines headed to the library. Russia noticed her and followed. 'The way she walks is cute too. I want her to be mine, especially that small, frail body.' thought Russia. He walked swiftly to match her pace and he greeted her.

Startled, she smiled a bit and nodded back then she walked straight ahead. Russia became more interested so he started to introduce himself.

"I'm Russia from Europe class. You're Philippines right da~?"

"Yes."

"Do you know where the library is?"

With a dejected look on her face, she shook her head. "Russia-san, do you know how to get there?"

"Yup, don't worry. I'll escort you da~."

Side by side, they walked together. Noticing from time to time, Philippines would shiver and rub her hands together.

"Ne, is it cold?"

"It's as if a cold draft suddenly comes. I'm not really used to cold places since my place is tropical."

Russia bowed his head slowly. "Maybe it's because of me."

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"I live in a cold place. It's always winter there so maybe the cold air also tends to hung around me. Do you hate cold places?" asked Russia with a sad look on his face. 'Maybe she won't like to become one with me because of the temperature. Not that I mind, I'll just make her like it.'

"It's not that I hate them, more like I'm not used to it." answered Philippines. "In my place, there isn't any snow. Only sunny days and sometimes rainy days occur. I think sometime, I would like to see a snowy place."

Smiling she answered, "If it is snowing then it should be cold, right?"
