Here is a picture that I did as a way of celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Sonic The Hedgehog for this year, which is a picture of Sonic hanging out at a birthday party with his friends Miles "Tails" Prower, Amy Rose, Cream The Rabbit, Cheese The Chao, and Knuckles The Echidna. When I was figuring out what to draw in time for Sonic's birthday recently, I decided to take the opportunity to draw a picture involving Sonic hanging out with his friends in some way that is quite similar to "Sonic Generations" after having the game on my mind at the time. I had originally wanted to draw a picture featuring all the different incarnations of the Blue Blur that had appeared over the years, especially after remembering that this year marks the 30th Anniversary of the Sonic franchise when the original "Sonic The Hedgehog" game was released for the Sega Genesis back in 1991, but I couldn't figure out anything clever to draw on my own, so I decided to go with something simpler that would be easier for me to draw while fitting a certain number of characters in a single drawing. Anyway, for this picture I've done, I was able to draw Sonic hanging out at a birthday party that his friends are able to throw for him in an outdoor setting, to which his friends are even able to provide him with balloons, presents, cake, and, of course, chilidogs, which happen to be Sonic's favorite food that he loves to eat all the time. When I was coloring the picture in, I was able to use an image of a cloudy sky for the background as well as a couple of detailed textures for the scenery such as the grass and tablecloth. The picture turned out incredibly nice after being completed, and it's sure to please my friends and everyone else as well.
