This was from the trip to Mono Lake in 2013. This is the Ansel Adams Wilderness, part of the Inyo National Forest. In 1992 a lightning strike sparked the Rainbow Fire. Aided by dense underbrush, drought, and strong wind the fire destroyed 8,000 acres of forest. Over 20 years after the effects of the fire are still clear.
