Farmhouse, Evening, somewhere in the western frontier. A woman was cooking over a stove. She had golden hair and eyes. Her hair was done in a bun and she wore brown, white, and red colonial dress.

Isabelle: "Suppers ready!" She called from the kitchen window.

Theo: "Be right there, sweetheart!" Theodore was tending to his horses in the stable, making sure they were all locked up and safe. Theodore, Theo for short, had brown hair and full beard. He had onyx eyes and wore a white buttoned shirt with the sleeves rolled up, a brown vest, and black pinstripe pants.

Isabelle placed two bowls on the dinner table. "Green beans with pork and mashed potatoes. You know one of these days, I'm gonna have to teach you to make your own food."

Theo: "And I'd be much obliged to learn from a beautiful teacher."

Isabelle blushed "Flattery only gets you so far."

Theo: "How am I do now?"

Isabelle: "Mm-hmm... keep going."

Theo: "I'd do anything just to see you smile just like you are right now."

Isabelle chuckled "And~"

Theo: "I'd go to the ends of the earth to keep you safe."

4 months later

Theodore was leading his horses out of the stall until shots started going off in the distance. He ran inside his house and grabbed his Winchester repeating rifle.

Isabelle: "What's going on?!"

Theo: "Cattle Rustlers. Stay here, lock the door, and don't let anyone else besides me inside." He then jumped on his horse to ride out. Back when Theo was a kid his father taught him how to shoot to prepare him for events such as this.

???: "Ya-hew!"

???: "Ye-haw!"

???: "Giddy up, now little doggies!"

The cattle rustlers were herding the cows out of the now broken fence.

Theo: "Hey, get outta here now!" He started to shoot at them. "That's MY livestock!" Theo chased them away and guided his cattle back in the fenced in area. As he was doing so he saw smoke coming from his home. "Isabelle. Isabelle!" Theo rode his as fast as he could back to the farmhouse. Unknown to him dynamite had been placed on the side of his windmill and blew up as he rode near it, knocking him off his horse.

Theo woke to the sound of screaming. He looked down to see he was laying in a pool of his own blood. His face was cut open and couldn't open his left eye for all he could see was a blurred crimson red piece of meat hanging from his face. He held his face together and turned to his burning house. Fire engulfed his farmhouse in flames. "This can't be happening." His voice was raspy and his words were barely audible Theo got to his feet and stumbled forward 4 feet only to fall back down.

Isabelle screamed as two men wearing bandanas dragged her away from the house "Theodore! Help!"

Theo: "Isabelle."

Isabelle: "Theodore!" The two men pushed her to the ground and one straddled her and held her arms above her head. "No! Stop it!"

Theo clawed at the ground pulling himself to his wife. "Isabelle, I'm coming."

Isabelle head-butted the man, knocking him back. She reached for a rock on the ground and smacked him with it, knocking him out. Isabelle got to her feet and ran to her husband. Theo looked up to see his wife running to him. The men behind her raised their rifles and shot her down. Theo watched in horror as the lifeless body of his one true love was fell to the ground.

Theo: "No." as he starred, his vision in his right eye started to blur as tears fell from his face mixing in with his blood. He soon lost consciousness from blood loss.
