This is one I'm proud of. The F/A-18F Super hornet goes below the speed of sound and makes for a terrific photograph! This is the best out of my series attempting to capture it.This photo is also touched up. The Hornet was originally centered at the top, but I moved her down and compensated with Photoshop.

YES! Thank you! I'm in love with this shot and I really wish that plenty of the people who view this and don't really appreciate how hard it is to capture this decisive moment! I put this in for a Photojournalism contest at my local county fair and placed Third, losing to a photo of a soccer player (which was actually better than mine, but...) in Second place and the one that blows me away, First-place a picture of a Tiger with motion blur walking through an overexposed cage at the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. I could be bitter...
