Short Story:

Kaed and Alu sped along the flat tundra ground. The landscape quickly vanishing behind them in a blur of white of snow and gray earth tones. The pair were not exactly rushing towards the finish line (since that can lead to unfortunate events and or injuries to both tokota and rider) on the ice. The sled carved through the snow and occasionally bounced up and down as they went over slightly uneven terrain, the sled would hold though. Kaed noticed they were still going pretty fast, it was unnerving, but hey, when was the last time you saw a speed limit sign?
