Caden and Viho trekked across the vast landscape of Takotna, following the fleeting inukshuks that seldomly appeared and struck fear and worry in the un-confident riders. So far so good, the two had stayed on track with the large stone people that marked the right way across the tundra. There was more than just snow and ice in Alaska. Trees, mountains, rocks, and of course rivers. The sun was setting, nearing dusk, just about 5:00 pm or so. The two would rest later, Viho still had astronomical amounts of energy left to burn before they settled down for the night. For now they would enjoy the colours of the bleeding sky and the last remaining warmth of the sun on their backs.
