Description Sometimes it seems like I'm the only one who hasn't punched Khalisah al-Jilani in the face, let alone the fact that I actually like her.
I always seems to like the ones that no one else like, the "bad guys", quite often the cowards. I love Batarians, Neimoidians, Ferengi, you name it. Tough I don't like Kai Leng, he can go fack himself.

Not only you, it's way more entertaining to let her taste her own medicine and accuse her of disrespect for the dead, I mean the renegade dialogue option (when the council was sacrificed). Paragon one is a bit... yawn, not to say totally unconvincing. I don't think someone like Shepard would be offended by a dirty reporter enough to lose the temper.
In ME3, she is, for once, not trying to tarnish someone's reputation but leads a genuine investigation, however, ME3 is no go to me, not because of the ending, it so screwed up it plays like a troll game, which it sort of is.

I've never punched Khalisah too, preferring to put her down with words only and headcanoning Shepard going away with a smug grin on her face as soon as she is out of camera's sight. Also, I like, how in ME3, you can hear Khalisah's voice cracking when she gets to mentioning human casualties, because she really feels, what has happened and is happening right now. Using Paragon interruption at this moment feels great (and adds some nice bonus to your War Efforts).

You're not the only one I didn't punch her in the face. Also I like Batarians too and especially Ferengi hell about ten years ago I learnt some of the rules of acquisition though sadly can't remember them now and I can't find them anymore. also I foundΒ Neimoidians pretty interesting.

Also Kai leng I would have been alright with him if he didn't kill Thane ¬¬

That "Shut Up!" kiss takes the cake, right after Khalisah dodging Shepard's punch and knocking her/his lights out.
Seriously, I don't get how the first Human Spectre punching an untrained civilianΒ  is supposed to be witty or badass.
In fact it's kinda refreshing to see a basically harmless person, who isn't whorshipping THE SHEPARD.
As for Kai Leng, he is a bland throw-in antagonist with some akward Asian stereotypes (A sword? Why not a nunchaku, while you're at it?), in my opinion.

Love this! She looks so surprised!

I like Khalisah too! I really don't understand why people think it's acceptable or even funny for a fucking soldier in full armour to assault a civilian just because she's a journalist asking questions they don't like. And in ME you're literally working with an anti-alien terrorist organisation; no matter your reasoning or situation, of course other people are going to have concerns!

Late reply but oh well.

It's just like the two asari flagged as risk for geth infiltration on the citadel, if shepard acts like a racist asshole to them for no reason then they give a snarky reply and that is reason enough for most to be even more assholish because "I'm the protagonist, I'm always right."

It would be something if that camera of hers was filming live.
