I saw a Discovery documentary where they talked about a tourist visiting the island of Komodo who apparently got bitten and later eaten by a Komodo dragon.
So much for sight-seeing!

no denying that dj...as long as you keep on surviving...komodos are fascinating creatures...saw several documentaries on them.....they can even catch deer!

komodos are amazing.
as for living on the edge -- my view is that sanity is overrated.
many people spend years in therapy trying to find their inner child. i've never been to therapy, but I'm having trouble finding my inner adult!

Great shot! It really captures the essence of the Komodo Dragon...there's a sense of resting menace (the dripping saliva of bacterial doom) and, for those of us reptile lovers, a sense of the intelligence in the dragon's eye.
