The ideal way of life is autonomy. Renewable energies allow us to build houses autonomous in water, food, heat and electricity. In this picture, you can see a half underground house, with greenhouse, high efficiency photovoltaics, high efficiency wind turbine, and chimney. Its roof is covered with slate, and its clay walls, waterproofed by lime, are strengthened with flying-buttresses. This is the house of my dreams.
