Description
The eolotrope is a wind turbine that combines the useful to the pleasant.

It's designed to work at higher power, using the fast winds. For the power of a wind turbine is very sensible to the speed of the wind : if the wind is 2 times faster, then the wind turbine will produce 8 times more Watts. The high tower, strenghened by flying-buttresses, allows to harness faster winds. The multiple little blades, flexible as the helicopter ones, associate readily with high speed rotation.

The aesthetics is based on a rainbow weathercock and splendid ornaments. The landscape is inspired from the forests of Catalunya.

The names of the creators are indicated on the machine. Αἰόλος is the god of winds in Greek mythology. La Cour and Savonius are two scientists who have marked the history of wind power. Finally, the names of the workers are engraved on the machine.
