I will be the first to admit, some of my best work comes from happy little accidents; I have had so many photos come alive because of them, either while being shot, or in post. This is one of those happy little accidents in post that I just love.

This photo was one I was seriously on the fence about, I kinda loved it, and kinda not. I had this one in color and another in black and white. I thought I might use the B&W one, and really thought I would never use this one. Well last night while just playing around, trying to get reacquainted with Photoshop, I was playing with this photo, and hit the action for a Dark Red Lomo style photo (I am lazy and have actions for almost every style of editing I do...). I instantly hit undo just out of instinct, but once my brain realized how much the colors came to life, I did it again.

This photo is now one of my favorite flower photos I think I have ever taken. I love the colors, the depth, the contrast, and even the odd focus is got me smiling. It was been sitting around for a while so I don't remember exactly how it was shot, where this was at, or anything else like that. So just enjoy, and check the EXIF if you really need that information.
