My original character, Racquel (Roxy). Here are some more reference pics of herRoxy has always been a tricky character for me. My goal was to create a pretty perfect princess type who also happens to be the most impossibly skilled fighter Gwen had ever met and make it not all stupid and stuff. Yeah.
She's older than most of the other Loser Factory members (38 here) and I try to do some age lines in the face, but not so much that she doesn't get mistaken for Gwen's bubbly, airheaded sister when in civi situations. Animals like her, as they do with pretty perfect princesses and she has a crow buddy who's parents named him "Caw Caw". Having spent the last 23 years in one battle/mission after another, it is suspected that Roxy has reverted to the persona of an innocent teenageish girl who just loves life SOOO much. Gwen envies (in a friendly way) most everything about her and wishes she could be as calm and generally enchanted with normal everyday life as Roxy seems to be. Her darker side emerges when some realistic wisdom is needed and even the other Loser Factory members are surprised at how quick she is to resort to violence for solving problems. There are actually too many details for an outfit that I'll have to draw a lot in the book. Lol. I may have to make a second simpler version for everyday drawing. We'll see.

Yeah, I'm not even sure what kind of weapon I'd call it! It's kind of an axe/scythe/spear combo that's shaped a bit like an anchor, I guess... Thanks!

Well I play a lot of rpgs.. and have seen similar weapons and they fall under the Axe category but nonetheless cool.. The shape of it reminds me of a Jester, I'd call it Jesters axe lol

Yeah, the more I think about it, it does look like an axe. I'll have to look up some axe fightng videos and see if I can incorporate them into her fighting style (even if it's huge). I appreciate the input. You may have helped me branch this character out a little bit.

very nice! I love the outfit and hairstyle, everything has a nice flow about it! Plus her weapon in itself is unique, time and time again we see oc and heroes with a sword mostly or gun which is getting sooooooo played out! Anyways great work and keep it up! it's very funny though, my oc carries a scythe too lol!
