- An opposites project done for Digital Illustration. It was my first "real" attempt at making something worth-while in Illustrator. I had fooled around in the program a few other times, but never worked on anything for very long. I still really REALLY hate Illustrator, and don't plan on ever making anything else in it unless I absolutely have to for a class again.


Done completely in Adobe Illustrator other than the textures that I added in PS after I was done.

Wow!
Their contrast is amazing. I love the circled poses because at first sight they don't seem exactly simetrical. I think that you chose great colors, because none stands out too much, but they compliment each other. I also like the background, every half belonging to one of the characters, and the whole idea. I mean, this kind of pictures usually have a Ying-Yang, darkness-light concept, but yours is completely different.

Yeah, it's definitely useful for graphic design things, but I don't think it's that great when trying to make illustrations

Thanks. Illustrator makes you have smooth lines, but it was so much more time consuming to make this piece in that program.

Well I freakin' hate the program too. Everything is SOO difficult in that program. The only reason I had the patience was because I had to use it for the project in class.
