I'm back! I was on a 6 month voyage on a cruise ship near the Pacific Ocean. It was July 30th 2013 when my ship crashed on the coast of Guam, I had to learn the language if I wanted to get a job, if I wanted to survive. I had nothing but the shoes on my feet and the clothes on my body, and there were no survivors of the crash. I usually found myself in a small shelter built from nothing but wood of the palm trees and stone. Any money I made from my job would most likely been spent on food, of course. But one day I realized I was going to die there, and if my demise was near, I had to die doing what I love: painting. Then one day after my shift at a local burger shack, I purchased a piece of plain white paper, red, blue, black, and tan colors, and an apple. As I began to paint a caricature of a bird in a mans body to symbolize equality, my eyes stumbled across a picture of someone with a quote on the back, "No matter who or what you are, Praise the Booty. Don't let society tell you otherwise." I was fascinated to discover that it slightly matched my painting of equality. I drew and drew, nearly spent 27 days on this painting before I scavenged enough money to obtain a raft from the surf shop. In that journey, in that disaster of a journey, I had found something more than God, I had found Drake.
