I bought a styrofoam head and black wig recently to be able to model off my pieces. Decided to model off the best piece first which ofcourse is my crane comb! ENJOYRelated content

A little messy, but still beautiful. Very geisha-esque.

OH thats just some halloween wig i used to display the kanzashi with. ;A; i don't own a real Katsura otherwise i would have used it.

all your combs are unbeliveably well crafted and seeing them set in a wig versus the way we've been seeing them, really brings out the beauty of the comb ten-fold.
don't get me wrong, i love seeing the comb by itself, but this way is just so wonderfully beautiful.

Hmmm, while I think you look better in the wig, I think it's nice to see kanzashi on a model head...contextualized art.

XD but then i'd have a hard time trying to angle the camera just right to get a picture of me wearing the kanzashi! LOL when i try to do that i take about 30 something pics and only manage to get one decent picture out of the lot. i need to get a tripod or something. haha, thanks!!!

lol i don't have any friends in the area i live in. all my buds are overseas. i'd ask my mom but she takes horrible pictures. lol so the styrofoam head will do. when i go to the con again hopefully i can get some of the buyers to model for me.
