Description I attended Omni Expo and I won the 'Most Cutting Edge' award for Cortana. I really wanted to light up this costume, so I purchased some fairy LED string lights from Amazon. I literally had Trevor wrap them around me and tape the strands in place with medical tape. I had four battery packs around my waist on an elastic band and I was running on 12 AA batteries. Once the lights were in place I carefully pulled the suit on over it and was good to go.

Ohh, the only thing I knew about them was that they were brighter
and last longer than regular bulbs. That's cool.

Yeah they are very cool and I suppose there s a tiny amount of heat, but it mostly comes from the wires leading to the LED... sorry ima nerd, lol...

next time you might want to think about patches or circular band-aids to cover where the lights go to cut that heat down more.
