Gilbert was once a young man sent out to fight in the war, watching many of his brothers die in action, even getting one eye blown out during combat. After he had gotten his medals, he moved into a quiet part of Lunatic City, a part that was farther away from the crazy antics of the other folks. It was the only city that he could afford at the time which explains why he lives there in the first place. He often spends time on his own self and often have to threaten delinquents off his yard.
