Description Yessssss, one of the three refs that are pretty high on my to-do list. 8D The other two are the Nailangel's and Sy's. (Gosh Sy, I am prettymuch never happy with your ref, am I?)
BUT THEY ALL HAVE A MAJOR THING IN COMMON so you'll have to just bear with me. *ahemahem*

So anyway, here's Clocktower, or just Tower.
Here's his ooooold ref, which I'll leave up for a little while longer: [link]
There are still things accurate on that sheet that aren't mentioned here (for space reasons), such as: he likes masks, more wing bending/junkwings examples, etc.

I HAVE a section about Sions on my website, but I'm not really happy with it anymore. It'll be rewritten at some point.

Tower also has abilities like going through mirrors, and an aggravated form, but all sions have those, so I mostly just left it off. Aggravated form is mostly when they start turning completely black starting at hands/feet/wingtips and spreading inwards, and, yeaaaah. You don't want to be around when sions start doing that.

--------

OKAY SO. There was actually a lot more I wanted to write about his wings, but I didn't want to fill up the ref sheet with it. XD;; I'm going to write it here instead! Should answer some things you might have been curious about.

-Both Tower AND The Nailangel can disengage/re-engage the wing weight. (I suspect this is something that all the winged sions can do) That is, normally they have it disengaged, where it doesn't add anything to their actual weight, and they can't really feel the weight attached to them either. Re-engaging it DOES. They don't usually do that unless they're planning to throw weight around. (Breaking, ramming stuff, etc. In Tower's case he'd probably be doing it because he was being too lazy to just age a door open.)

-Tower can also disengage/re-engage control over his own wings. Normally they are obviously engaged. Disengaging causes the chains to go slack and all of the other metal freeze in position. What he likes to do (especially to freak people out) is to latch himself onto the ceiling, and then disengage his wings so he just starts hanging there with no other effort involved. XDD;; Yep. That one picture on the ref that shows his back is from a slightly bigger doodle I drew awhile back of him hanging.

-The sheet mentions that the wings can 'regenerate'. A more accurate term would be that they can reappear, but this isn't an immediate process. What happens when the clockwork wings are broken off is that junk continues collecting, but to a more epic degree than before. (Here's a picture I drew 14628368 million years ago in high school to give you an idea. Now envision it with even more junk). After a certain point, all the stuff making up the wings arms/hands/fingers drop off and the clockwork stuff appears from underneath where it was.

-He uses a similar, though backwards process to get rid of his wings entirely - for when he wants to sneak around as Sy, for example. He collects a whole bunch of junk to the point where it covers up all the clockwork, and then makes it all drop off. The clock stuff all disappears (including the anchors), and the rest of the junk just falls to the floor.

-Aaaand one more random fact thing: There is some kind of liquid inside of the clockfaces. 8D

--------

I really love Tower. XDDD;; He is so much fun to write for, and I have so many thumbnail doodles in my sketchbooks of him just being awesome.

Oh man, that was the most text I've written in a description in a long time, but I hope it was helpful, or at least interesting!

Man, I really like the Syons a lot can I call them this?). They always seem to have such adorable little quirks (like Tower's singing!). Also Tower has totally rad clock wings and the way they attach = really cool.

Ahh, thank you! I really love sions (Syons is a cute name for these too XDD) and designing them is so much fun. (tower especially ahh) >333< I have decided that having funny quirks must be a requirement for them or something.

Oh Tower, why so fabulous? He sounds so epically developed and cool.

Aaaand I did not know that about the blackening bit! I suppose general absolute terror and ouch happens when sions start turning black? I love all the information about disengaging/reengaging and his wings~ He sounds really fun.

Thank yoouuuu ;3333; The two sions been around a super long time (even if I don't complete much art of them), and they have a lot going on.

YEAAHHHHH prettymuch. 8'D They have super sharp claws when they're aggravated. It depends a lot on the individual, but Tower usually ends up going into that mode kind of fast because he's unstable to begin with.

It certainly sounds like they do, and that's always fantastic. I love advanced characters like this.

.... Yeah that sounds like terror and ouch. xD
