Description A blast from the past--last summer that is and the old D40 days

I posted another shot of this battered beauty.



It was about the first time I ahd gotten clse enough for long enough to get any good shots of a butterfly I was always struck by the worn wings this small butterfly had. the sight reminds me that there are hardships in all of life but the best don't pay no attention to it. They just go on with what they need to do to live.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this trip down memory lane.

Not much to be found there now--all the road ditches are full of snow Nothing for it but to stay inside and watch that buxom beauty Nigella on 'Nigella Feasts'
