Very painterly and beautiful! The technique reminds me of delicate watercolor paintings. I especially like the deep blue shade on the wing!

This is a wonderfully fluid interpretation of the reference! Beautiful. May I ask what mypaint brushes you used?

Thank you!
I used Tanda's pencils and a modified version of Ramon's "wet_round" brush.
I was playing with the brush engine and I only changed 3 lines in the original wet_round.myb :
seventh line: radius_logarithmic 3.07 | random (0.000000 -0.410000), (1.000000 0.410000)
thirty-ninth line: elliptical_dab_ratio 1.9
fortieth line: elliptical_dab_angle 0.0 | random (0.000000 -25.000000), (1.000000 25.000000) | direction (0.000000 0.000000), (180.000000 180.000000)
