Barko opened his eyes for the first time since being dragged away by the poodle. He wasn't sure how long he had been unconscious and bleeding out for. And he had never felt so close to death. Heavily injured, faint from a lack of blood, and laying in the strong scent of his blood, Barko was easy prey for any predator that might be nearby.
He glanced over at his blood soaked arm feeling as though a piece of him was missing. A rather useless, and sometimes hindering piece, but still himself none the less. He couldn't even remember much of what had happened besides the searing pain and exhaustion.
His face curled into the angriest expression he had ever made, eyes wide and teeth bared. He knew he hadn't done a single thing to deserve this. He didn't hurt Squishy, nor had he done a single thing she hadn't wanted him to.
From the smell of things, Barko was still in the house of Intrigues territory. He wasn't sure why they had left him here, but he wasn't going to let them finish him off. Any aggressive dog that came near him would have its throat torn out in an instant.
The Hand would certainly make this poodle pay. If there was any justice, he would pay with his life.
The usually happy and trusting dog was now feeling quite the opposite. No more fear, and no more sadness. There was only rage in this helpless, wounded dog.
The House of Intrigue weren't the humerus pranksters he had always thought them to be. They were sociopathic nutcases, whom he hoped to never see again. In fact, he didn't even want to see Squishy, or her puppies faces. Barko just wanted to get home to his friends. He hadn't completely failed the mission that the general had sent him on; he now knew that Squishy was here. Not that it mattered much now. He only longed to see the comforting, friendly faces of his fellow Fingers. His friends could help him. His friends could ease his pain. His friends were on his side and would protect them. They would serve The House justice. It was these thoughts that got him moving. Barko began to drag himself, slowly away from the Intrigues territory, careful not to place his right paw on the ground.

Anyone is free to continue. House of Intrigue members (preferably those that do not wish to maim him further), strays or other pack dogs. Barko will be traveling along the west wall until he reaches The Fingers territory. So if you want to continue this with a character that is not in the House of Intrigue, feel free to start off wherever along his journey you wish.

When I first created Barko, I wanted a really happy, stupid, and nice character. However, I can't remember a single RP involving Barko that hasn't been pain, sadness, or fear. We can probably assume that Barko won't be quite the same dog after this. But who knows, we'll see Maybe someone will quell his anger.
