I spent more than 6 hours on this artwork.

And entire Saturday because inspiration demanded it.

So here it is: Human Isabelle.

I’m so proud of myself because the style I was going for was like a mix of paint illustrations form like the classic Peter Rabbit books or like the Winnie the Pooh books. It turned into this and damn does it look good. A very experimental style for me.

The poses were hard to get just right, but in the end it was all worth it. Even the feet look good, and I don’t usually do well with feet so I never draw them. I always draw shoes. But Isabelle is a special exception, I suppose. I wanted her to have a short stature that feels like she hasn’t fully developed into an adult, kinda like the main character from Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi. Go read that manga it’s wholesome.

The first Isabelle I drew is actually on the bottom right. She was the experiment that set the precedent on how I made the colors. The colors were made to look bright and cheery for that nice, fall look. She has fairly yellowish pink complexion. Blushes were purposely made orange to match her puppy counterpart. Oh, and I added tights because she’s in her fall outfit. It’s cold outside and you might want tights. Practicality.

And I know there are going to be those kinds of people who care only about the feet.
