Im starting to really enjoy the portrait side of my work when I'm able to create images such as this. She is 13 days old and dad is Leaving for Iraq an a few days. I dont know what I would do if I had to be away from my daughter for more then a week, let alone 7 months.** As always, please respect the model in your comments **

Absolutely love this piece! Reminds me of my 1 and 1/2 year old son and my husband. A father's love is unlike anything else in the world. =]
It's everything a mother's love can't be.
When my husband kisses our son's face, the baby's face is scrunched up...cutest thing ever.
This is beautiful! And as stated, I have seperation axiety from my son, I freak out if we leave him with the babysitter for more than a couple hours. I couldn't imagine having to be away from months at a time.
Bless the baby, her family, and may her father come home to her safely.

You're fucked. You're fat, ugly, stupid, and a terrible artist, and you know it. You'll never be beautiful, no matter how much you starve yourself, no matter how much face cream you use. It's hopeless, just like your chances of a future.
I mean, you can't even get people on the internet to like you. What kind of person is that? Nothing. Because you are nothing, just like the pathetically hideous body you try to hide from the world. You piss and moan and whine because you know you're a horrible human being that doesn't deserve to live another day in this world. You know this. You have no beauty, no skills, no talent. You won't develop them, you don't even try, because you're too pathetic to do so.

This is absolutely amazing.
My wife wants a baby even though we're not finacially stable enough for kids.
Nor am I exsactly ready for kids...so, this came just at the right time. It really makes me excited and look forward to holding my own kid.
The shot is perfect...it really shows the love he has for his little baby girl. I can see the feelings here so clearly...so perfectly.

I can really connect with this beautiful photo. Both of my older brothers are in the National Guard; one has already served a year in Iraq and the other is going to have his first little boy this coming March. I'm excited to be an aunt for the first time. And, I know, this is how my brother will feel when his little bundle is born.

this makes me soooo sad, to think this man is leaving his daughter that he hardly knows to fight a war he should not have to, he should be able to stay at home, love her and watch her grow, not worry about never seeing her again, or if she is well. this brings tears to my eyes and pain to my heart, love this so much! worthy of DD and more!

Keep your head down so you can come home and take more images together. I think she would be sad if this was all she had to hold onto of her father. But she would be happy that you left behind such a touching memory...be there to make more come home safely. Love the composition, very beautiful.
