I favourite just about any good Samus art I come across and yet have but one drawing of her up myself, and on a sketchbook dump page no less!For shame.
Here's a quick little piece I threw together having some fun with new patterns and colour schemes. Not altogether dynamic, but I like the linework and design of it

Needless to say, I dig. Look over there at my avatar. I'm always searching for Metroid-y greatness. This hits the spot. Diggin' the color variations, as well as the small details that you changed and small changes that you added. Great stuff.
You should really do more with these concepts. You should do a sketch or something of these variations, in real Metroid settings, or just with a background that you made up, doing an awesome pose and everything. These should be taken and used beyond what you have here.

If only...Nintendo can make multiple Mario games a year, yet it takes them like 5 frikin years from game to game. They have hard core peeps like you and me to support them, and yet they make us wait forEVER.

I love it when people draw Samus's suit to be very feminine looking -- it takes a way from the mystery a bit, but it's still great. Awesome job, dude!

I approve them all, they are perfect (though honestly I think the glowy lines on the helmet might have been a bit much.)

I know, I wanted to go and do like a hundred of them when I started, but I liked the first one I did and the classic colour scheme and then just pretty much stopped.
