Well, I'm alive yet again- and with HEDGEHOGS! This time, a bit of a step back from my original content and into my roots and current mainstay- Sonic the Hedgehog. I've been buried up to my neck in the Sonic Fangaming community, specifically hanging around with the crew of Sonic Fangames HQ, an age old Sonic community with some of the finest and greatest fanwork the fandom has to offer.

I won't lie when I say i'm deeply inspired by these dorks, as well as the classic Sonic games and their aesthetics. Naoto Ohshima is one of my biggest inspirations, not only with the iconic blue hedgehog's design, but with his illustrations and sketches that guided the Sonic artwork for so many years. He's so talented, and still loves Sonic so much! I love Sonic too, and this piece is definitely dedicated to him! This is also totally dedicated to the team that worked so hard to bring us Sonic Mania, and.. of course, Sonic Fangames HQ

For this, I took a personal spin on the Sonic style, combining a few past styles with my own to create something unique! I'm definitely deeply inspired by the artwork featured in Sonic Jam, the Sonic CD Japanese Boxart, and Sonic Adventure! I feel super proud of this piece.
