For most all of my quickpaintings I use a basic brush with size and opacity jitter turned on. For this particular piece I also used a tootbrushsplatter brush which I found somewhere in the net.

It's that brush setting in photoshop where the brush responds to pen pressure. You either turn it on or off.

i always like images that are close-in and fairly simple, but seem to convey an overwhelming sense of cool
