I love oil paint. This is so nice. And stars are my favorite thing in paintings. The pretty, calm stars paired with the lightning is a nice touch. Very good! Nightmare/Luna looks really good too. I love her glowing eyes.

I'd have to agree with bannanaphoniest.
Your works in paints are gorgeous, but they don't have the same sort of 'life' in them as your digital works do.
It may be because you're new at them.
However, with that being said, this is still beautiful. Far better than I could hope to compose.
I'm not one to critique, since I'm not good at art myself, but I thought I'd provide some input other than "aslkdjfgkajhsdf art luv ur art KLFJhkdfhgasdf". Hahaha
I'm not quite sure how you could go about fixing it, since I'm not quite exactly sure what would need tweaking to give off that same vibe your digital works do, other than you seem to take more (successful) risks with your digital works.
With those, it almost seems as if you're trying something you're not sure if you can do, but it works out highly successful in the end.
With these, although your skill is phenomenal, it feels almost as if you're playing it too safe, or you're almost afraid to work with the paint.
I dunno. I may just be too critical and analytic because of my recent AP english testing, but that's the vibe I'm getting, and I thought it might be beneficial if I shared it.
Please keep painting. I can't wait to see what you throw out at us next.

For some reason something about your panel paintings just seems off to me. Like all your other stuff is really well composed and rich but your panel stuff, for some reason, doesn't give me the reaction.

Probably deficient skill right now. I only started learning how to paint in oils in September of 2012. I've also been choosing more "static" subjects to paint in oils (as opposed to the narrative type scenes I do with digital mediums).

Nightmare moon: the beautiful princess of the night who wanted to be loved and recognized by her citizens. She is evil, but still so beautiful with her black coat.

Oooh, how lovely! It's so nice to see a proper painting done in traditional media (and oil paints, no less!); the textures you get that way are just so wonderful.
And I've got a weak spot for Night Mare Moon, too, but even if it weren't for that, I'd still have to say that this is one of the finest pictures of her I've seen so far. The lightning arching from her horn, the ethereal flow of her mane and tail with all their stars, everything's great.
Count me in among those who'd be more than happy to have this gracing their walls.
