Please Full View!Well, I took some photos of my son Aeden yesturday afternoon for this little project. Hes about a year and 3 months now! I have another one w/my son and my daughter but its not finished yet
This is mermaid #10, 2 more to go for the calendar and I think I know exactly what I am doing for both of them! I'm ALMOST finished! Such a great feeling!bg is stock from sxc [link] & there are some shell brushes I think are ~ischarm & bubbles from ~Raptura

Sue! Gorgeous work here! I love the baby and the little starfish and shells in the bubbles!! Very original and really well executed.
My only issue with this piece is that the foreground is so intricate and beautifully done, and the background seems like it's missing detail and color.
I would try painting some color and some crispness into the near-background where the rock and the splash happens, since that's where the eye tends to go after the rest of the foreground is absorbed. The hair and the fin is especially finely detailed and beautiful, but if you notice, the composition makes a triangle between the baby and the rock, and so that part of the composition seems to distract the viewer because it's less focused.
Incredible work, darling. Even with that issue, I still have to favorite this for the sheer concept and beauty in the little baby!!
