I t was all custom made by Facing Costumes. Sadly I would not suggest doing business with them as they have a tenancy to steal money and costumes. As they did with mine when I sent it back for them to finish the paint job.

Naturally his costume is gonna be better, with the evolution of the game and designs of the Victorian nature, what I have seen of it I like it more and more each time.

It's so pretty! But It's bad to droll. It looks much more complicated of a design than Altair's. I don't mean to be so nosy, but for when would you have it ready? Also, no rush, it's just that it looks like you do such great costumes.

Yeah the costume is awesome, I love all the detail in it. I haven't even decided whether I will make or commission the costume. I do not have the materials or the skill to make it.

Oh. It was commissioned. You could probably buy the silk shirt, but everything else looks like it could be so much cheaper to make. You're probably better off commissioning it because of how time consuming the lack of experience could be. But your definition of skill could differ from mine. If it's not too much trouble, who did you commission it from?

I would like to learn prop making but I do not have the time, money or the space to work on props. I know I could do it but right now I have no experience under my belt lol.

And I know. I have a lack of patience, so anything that takes too much time I loose interest. I would much rather commission the costumes. There's paranoia in the mix too. You never know if you will screw up if you have never done it before, and it could get expensive.

Yea there stuff is not cheap, but man they do some awesome work.
It takes alot I am trying to make pants and the cape for Kamina from Gurren Lagann and even that has cost a good bit of money for the materials and and time!

I don't recommend doing pants. You could probably just buy a pair and alter those a bit. And lots of fabric stores have sales. If you sign up for their news letter you could get coupons and stuff like that. Some magazines carry coupons as well. I do fell bad for you and that cape though. It's gonna take time and patience to get it torn correctly. The collar standing up like that shouldn't be to hard though.

Yea I already have a template drawn out for the base of the cape and Ill probably get the flames and the symbol airbrushed on. The collar shouldn't be to hard Ive got some heavy duty interfacing.
The pants are being a bit difficult, but hopefully we will get it figured out, and I need to get some wood and make me some sandals.

You could cut up an old pair of pants and try to put it back together? Like a puzzle, but with sewing.
Only place I can think of is Home Depo. They have cheap wood last I checked, but you would be left with a whole bunch extra.

With wood, you can go to a place like Home Depot and ask for "Drops" these are the pieces of excess wood when they cut off stuff, they keep it lying around and you can get it for free!

One last question, promise. What cons do you usually go to? If you ever do wear Altair or Ezio it would be nice to see them in person. The costumes I mean.

Akon and Animefest in Dallas are the main 2, me and my friends have yet to go out of state for a con.

We haven't been to an out of state con either. We normally go to every con in Texas. Or try. My friend has a small business and cons keep it going. If I go to akon next year, maybe I'll see it there.
