Decembersville --> [link] TUMBLR --> [link] Blogspot --> [link] I did a huge doodle page of the von Pyre Bros. in suits and lovely outfits and all that. So I drew this piece of work in my sketchbook and it's pretty much something to keep my hands warm. I wish to draw Chima and his siblings in the full getup later on when commissions are through.
I had too much fun with his hair, obviously; it's usually a curly and fun neck-length cut but in here he just had a rollicking time with it. Let's say it all standing up because of [use your bloody imagination].

Okay... I have NO idea why... But for some reason this guy just strikes me as a really, REALLY vicious, devious, twisted version of Sherlock (as played by Bennedick Cumberbatch).
NO... Again, I could not tell you for the life of me why that is... But... It IS making me rather fond of it. (which is so wrong on so many different levels)

Oh gosh I grinned like an idiot when I saw him in my inbox.
At first I thought he had a Hufflepuff uniform in, with the scarf and yellow tie, and promptly remembered how good a finder he is

Wow! This looks amazing Andi! I love the shading, as well as the colours. Chima looks delightfully menacing here and it works well for his character!! The feathers in the background are a nice simple touch that really works for helping to keep the focus on Chima and making sure that the background isn't a solid colour that one might consider 'boring' or whatever.
It's always a treat to see your work Andi!!
