Behold the Dragon! The huge Chinese Government Railways Class KF 4-8-4 No. 7 in the National Railway Museum on September 23, 2020. British-built by the Vulcan Foundry at Newton-le-Willows, Lancashire, in 1935 as Works No. 4674, its original number was 607.

The locomotive was shipped to the UK in 1981 as a gift from China. The last time I visited the NRM, she was in between other exhibits, but this time presented a clear shot.

She runs on standard gauge track but is too large for the British railway loading gauge.
