Description
This still photograph of the layout complements the short video clip with the 'Britannia' and was taken shortly before the arrival of the train. Here you see the main yards at Truro (South Western) with the Gasworks under construction at the far end of the diesel depot. Unusually, part of the operating well can be seen.

The long siding with the vans and cattle wagons (ex-Truro C & W and awaiting entry to service) is to become a loop, which will enable a complete train to be stored ready to take a turn on the main line. On Falmouth Junction shed, 35030 Elder Dempster Lines is in for washout and the S15 on the left is rostered for its usual turn on the stopper.

The layout is still filling in until I can get a trip away to a heritage line to get some more photographs. Unfortunately, I could not get to Didcot this year as I had hoped, so am still trawling the past collection to see what has not previously been shown.
