This is rather interesting because instead of being one flowing white blur the water is both discirnable {SP?} and not recognizeable, if that makes sense. Almost looks like someone turned a fog machine on.

I love this!!! What's really neat is that the entire shot is the flowing water except for the single stone. And that stone is perfectly placed and perfectly exposed.

Oh, I like that. The exposure setting is really neet. I have seen some where teh exposure is so long the river is a long white ribbon of cloud, and of course I like taknig almsot stop motion short exposures of water. This is kind of in between, where you can still see the texture of the water, and the drops, but it also has the nice white fluffyness of the long exposure.
The composition really works well, I liek the placement of the rock, and the various lines of the river bed. I especially liek the detail and color depth of the rock in the FG.

Do you know what your shutter speed was here?
I think it's around 1/4 sec.
Compare the water here with your other image.
The texture is much nicer here.
1/4 sec blurs water a bit,
but doesn't have the milky/silky texture.
Unfortunately, 1/4 sec isn't always possible in shaded areas
where max Depth of Field is vital.
But, you might try going for that speed when you can.
