Description
Aerie, the wingless winged elf, from the PC RPG 'Baldur's Gate 2'.Actually, two Aeries. Since I had morphed her into a child for my 'Freedom', [link] , pic, I thought it would be interesting/fun to do a pic with both versions of the character.
So on the right is Aerie, explorer, adventurer, mage, healer, scourge of slavers. And looking over her is her younger self prior to her capture by slavers.
Difficult to know what her younger self thinks; probably not exactly how she expected her life to turn out. Sure, she'd wanted to explore and learn and maybe do things to help people... but fighting monsters and becoming friends with a Half-God of Murder probably didn't figure into her plans very much. Nor did having her wings chopped off, obviously.

She certainly becomes quite formidable. And with Minsc as her protector... well, not much that can really threaten her...

Aw man, I love the contrast here, especially with Aerie actually looking like the explorer she turns out to be. I never noticed how apt you made her clothes for it before now, but it really suits the dungeony background.
Aerie was always one of the ones I'd always have in my party, no matter what. She's so awesome.

I've tried to get clothes for all the characters that strike a balance between decorative/pretty and practical for adventuring. The exception so far being Viccy who is just dressed as priestess; but then she spends most her time in my games just hanging around the graveyard.

Despite her few hitpoints, she was quite possibly the most powerful character who could join your party besides Jaheira.
