You can do The Walkers too, if you can't do this one.

I'm actually wondering how Pegasus and Unicorns will fight in a war. Imagining how Pegasuses could shoot arrows and stuff in the sky, or even drop bombs
and Unicorns could.. i dunno, cast spells? xD

Yes, spells. Spells that do stuff like this➡ to a pony's face.
Pegasi ether go in to the Flying Corps or in to the Cavalry as Hussars or Dragoons.

Well, i just thought it'd be a bit better to use those since bullets can only be used once and arrows (if lucky) can be used plenty of times

Yes, but they also don't go as far and do less damage.

They are more of a back-up. Unless you feel like stopping in the middle of the battlefield to drink a potion.
Though if you have trained all your life, you could probably make it with out a gun.
...Probably...

Well, the glow of your horn will give-away were you are.
You need a lot of concentration, and you can't keep a very low profile.
On the plus-side, you have a lot more accuracy and a wider arsenal with no weight.

Damn... so fuckin' many nerfs and pros man.
It's almost like everything has a downside to it
then again.. War is pretty much the embodiment of Riskiness.

There are a lot of banned spells that can't be used, as well.

Yeah, mind-altering and petrification spells are banned for obvious reasons.

All mind-altering spells are banned, no exceptions.
Petrification spells are not fully banned, but they have strict regulations.
Though very few places still teach them, so they may as well be banned.
Blinding, Deafening, and Muting spells where not banned at the time, but they were highly frowned upon.

Hmm ... I wonder how their chin-straps work, given the size of their eyes.

You know, I'm surprised no one has asked about his horn.
The body part, not the instrument.

I assume there must be a hole of some sort to accomodate the horn.

cowboyjt In reply to ColonelBSacquet [2016-05-03 18:48:03 +0000 UTC]
Right. But if their horn was short enough, as seen here, there was no need for a hole.
The Unicorn's magic could easily be funneled though the helmet's crest.

ColonelBSacquet In reply to cowboyjt [2016-05-18 18:29:44 +0000 UTC]
Oh? Well, if the horn's short enough to fit inside a standard-shaped helmet, it sure must be a very short horn, aye?
In this case, do they use some special material or technique to make the crest apt to funnel magic?

Some breeds have shorter horns then others.
The crest is not fully attached to the helmet, leaving small gaps that magic can be funneled though.

Back to the breeds:
A full-blooded Unicorn would have longer horn then a Unicorn of mixed blood.

That would seem logic.
Judging from what you told me, the horn's length doesn't affect the magical capacities, does it?
