... yeah I dunno... >.>; Basically people keep telling me "You're stronger than you think" so yeah...Anyways, it's 1:47am and I should totally be sleeping... but I wanted to try out the copics I bought at Telford expo 2 weekends ago >.>; So I decided I'd just draw myself! *starts singing You're so Vain...*
Well in my defence it's been a while since I finished a Me off so I owed it me! ^__^
Not much else to say about it really... except that the copics are lush... I now want more o.o

I just got some Pigma sensei pens. You remember i told you about my inking problem with finding the right pen. Where would you say is the best place to ink?

Hmm I'm not sure I follow you to well here... where is the pbest place to ink? As in... Location or where on your sketch?? Cause... if it's locations - wherever you're comfortable! And if it's on sketch... well I usually go over my sketch lines with a pencil until I'm as pleased as I'm gonna get with it... then just go over that with my pens!

Yeah, location. I tried on my bed but the lines came out so shaky so i'm thinking probably at a table would be best x3 And yeah, it was you who told me to get a Staedtler, remember?

I used to ink on my bed, with my lap tray... although of late I have taken to my desk... but it depends on what I want to do!

Lap tray...I should get one of those. Sounds like it'd come in handy cuz the place i always get the most inspiration/ideas is on my bed XD I have no clue why.

I really love the attitude this pic has. The pose, the background, the coloring...they all hint at some edge and attitude...she's really pretty, but she has an edge to her, too
I love the figure. XP Emilu looks very curvy and isn't afraid to show it off. The coloring has a warmer tone, and the highlights and shading give everything a warmer feel, which I think works with the more edgy attitude the pic has. It's like someone turned up the temperature a little bit. XD
Love the softness of the coloring! You know how much I adore your coloring. :3
I think I might've mentioned this before, but whatever pens you use for inking kinda look a little washed out on these pics, especially when they're next to such gorgeous colors. The inking itself isn't bad, but the ink in the pens your using have a washed out, kinda shiny look that distracts from the colors a bit.

I liked the colours too! I got a real summery feel when I was working on this! And it made me feel happy - which was pretty cool - so I really enjoyed it! Even if the effects have left her looking rather greased up.... o.o;
Yeah see... I'm a pansy and print off my line work... at the moment my printer is in need of new ink! X3;;;

She doesn't look greased up, just like she's HAWT. And also hot. XDD I like how you put it as a summery feel to the colors...That's a good way to put it.
When you print off your lines, do you do any adjustments to them in photoshop to make them darker/more black?

I don't adjust anything in photoshop if I'm honest, just plonk a simple BG on it... I like the leave the colours as Natural as possible! But maybe's I should give that a go!

I would at least adjust the lines to make them more black before you print them out to color. I've found that it's helped. : )

I loved colouring the skin in this picture! Copics are just... glee to work with! X3 and Hair is always a favourite... though I didn't really have the colour range to pull off what I wanted... but I'm happy enough with it I guess!
