I love it. Your work is amazing. I've added some of yours that I find myself more attached to than the rest to my favorites. They are all great and it's great to see such amazing work. Hopefully one day I'll reach the level you are at, but right now I just have fun playing around with what I have.

You can achieve that look, by layering the colors over each other, then use a paper stump, or fingers to rub the wax in order to blend even further. It is commonly called Burnishing.

Sure you can! You just experiment with layering the shades...The more layers, the less white spots. Also, burnish afterwards.

That is really beautiful! You did an amazing job! You were using Derwents previously? I was debating trying them out, as Prismas are expensive, and very fragile! If they're handled too roughly (in shipping or being carried around, or dropped), the lead inside can crack and make it so you can't sharpen . . .
Anyways, I love the color tones and the muscles along the horse's body. It's a gorgeous picture!

You won't know until either the pencil will or won't sharpen. It kinda sucks when they don't sharpen, but I've only had two or three (out of maybe 150 or 200 pencils?) that wouldn't sharpen at all. I gotta figure out a better way to store and transport mine, though. I think I'm too hard on them . . .

I worry now, because. I was rough on handling the pencils, when I was purchasing them...(just plunking them in the basket) But, as so far... I only found one...

I think they'll be okay with that. It's more of dropping them on the floor (especially tile, like my floors . . . ). I don't know what else is too hard on them. I'm still learning . . .
