things haven't been so good - my grandma died, after 2 weeks in the hospital, with all her family gathering around her (her sister, her 7 children and most of the grandkids), and us all waiting to find out if she would recover or not... in the end, she asked to be allowed to go. it broke my heart to lose her - i had hoped she'd recover enough that i could go visit her this fall and spend some time with her one last time. at least my husband and son drove back to ohio to visit her last summer and spent 2 weeks there, and i talked with her every month. i just wish we'd had more time, and that i hadn't wasted time that i could have been talking with her more often.

My Condolences. I am so sorry to hear your news Val.
I truly know how hard it is. THese things are never easy. My deepest sympathies from my family to yours. You are in my thoughts and prayers. hang in there and just try to remember the good times and the wonderful person she was. I am truly sorry. Sending you and your family my love and prayers.
